Vasko's Stay for Pay Bonus Program
Vasko's offer an innovative new benefit that provides a bonus payment of $10,000 to Vasko employees who remain on the job in the event the company is ever sold. Complete information on this program is available here.
Life Insurance
Disability Insurance
- This amount is doubled if you are killed in an accident. Benefits reduce 34% at age 65 and 55% of the original amount at age 70. This benefit ends at retirement.
- The entire cost of this benefit is paid by Vasko
- Coverage begins 90 days after the start of employment.
- Vasko pays the entire cost of this benefit which pays $150 per week (not to exceed 66 2/3% of weekly salary) to employees that are unable to work because of an accident or illness.
- Vasko pays an additional $50 per week to employees that are unable to work because of an accident or illness.
- This benefit is paid on the first day after an injury and the 8th day of an illness. The maximum number of weeks this benefit is paid is 26.
- Coverage begins 90 days after the start of employment.
- Benefits terminate at retirement
401K and Retirement Planning
Vasko provides employees with direct access to information on their pension plan. All Vasko employees have a unique password to view and manage their own retirement accounts with 410k University. Vasko employees are eligible to enroll in this program each January 1. Rollovers from other 401K programs are allowed at any time. Here is a current plan summary.
Additional Retirement Planning
- Call the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 and request Form SSA-7004-SM for earnings and benefit estimate statement.
- Obtain your benefit information online at www.ssa.gov by supplying your name (exactly as it appears on your Social Security card), Social Security number, date of birth, state of birth, and mother's maiden name.
Vacation and Holidays
- After 1 year of service:
five, eight hour days - After 2 years of service:
ten, eight hour days - After 5 years of service:

- Paid holidays for employees who have worked for Vasko for 90 days or more are as follows.

Sales Lead Bonus
If an employee turns in a lead sheet and Vasko gets the account, the employee will receive $50 if the account's monthly rate is $50 or more and $25 if the rate is less than $50.
Construction Sites - Roll Off
If an employee turns in a lead for a construction site and we place a box on the site, the employee will receive a $75 bonus. The contractor must be a new contractor - one we don't currently haul for.
Each time you turn in a lead, you will be given a pull tab. When your lead is turned in, it is reviewed by the sales people to be sure that they were not already aware of it. If this is the case, you will not be paid. Bonuses are paid after the customer pays their first bill.
